NEET is a national level entrance examination conducted in India by
NTA for students who wish to study graduate and postgraduate medical
courses and dental courses in government or private medical colleges
and dental colleges respectively in India. The examination opens up
almost 63,800+ seats for candidates wishing to pursue MBBS and BDS
in various medical colleges across India. The allocation of seats is
done based on their rank, score, and cut offset defined by the
participating institutes. Selected candidates will be required to
report to their respective colleges.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin NEET 2023 Counselling most likely in the first week of October. Now that the NEET 2023 exam is over students are looking forward to NEET 2023 Result and NEET 2023 cut-off. The counselling for NEET 2023 is in the online mode as candidates have to register online with DGHS when the registrations begin. The counselling process is divided into two categories- AIQ (All India Quota) Counselling and State-Level Counselling. 15 per cent of the seats in all medical colleges across India is reserved for AIQ. The counselling result of NEET 2023 will be declared in the form of seat allotment list and seat allotment letter.
