Latest Update: The last date for submission of Online Application Form for the NEET(UG) 2026 has been extended up to 11th March, 2026 (09:00 PM). The payment of fees can be made up to 11:50 PM on the same day.

To apply for NEET (UG) 2026, candidates are required to complete the online process for NEET Registration 2026 exclusively through the official NTA website(s) at nta.ac.in/ and neet.nta.nic.in/. Please note that registrations made through any other platform will not be considered valid by the NTA.

How to Complete Registration for NEET Exam 2026?

Information about the NEET registration form is disclosed in the notification of NTA for NEET UG 2026. However, once the registration process starts, here is a step-by-step guide to registering for NEET 2026.

Visit the official website: nta.ac.in/ or neet.nta.nic.in/
Click on the registration form link given on the homepage.
Click on "New Registration".
Enter your basic details such as name, mobile number, and email address etc., and click on submit button.
Enter the received OTP and get registered.
Once registered, login using your application number and password.
Fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Save, submit, and pay the fees.
Download the application form for future reference.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday (5 Jan 2026) issued an important advisory for NEET UG–2026. Students preparing for this entrance examination should read the important guidelines issued before applying. The entrance examination is likely to be held in the first week of May 2026. The application process may begin in the first week of February 2026 on the official NEET(UG) website.

NEET Application Form 2026: How to Fill Form?

To get started with the NEET application process, use the application number and password generated by the system to log in. It's crucial to make sure that the information you enter in the application form matches the details on your Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/University Certificate.

After confirming your personal details, proceed to provide your address and academic information. Here are the candidate details you need to furnish:

Please select the preferred language for your question paper, specify your examination city, furnish information regarding your educational qualifications, and upload the required documents and images. Upload scanned copies of the candidate's recent passport-size photograph, postcard-size photograph, signature, as well as their right and left thumb impressions.

If applicable, please provide the following documents:

Proof of citizenship
Category and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) certificate, if applicable
Acceptable identification documents for candidates falling into different categories.

NEET UG 2026 Application Fee

Follow the below steps to make the payment for the examination:

You can pay the fees online using methods such as debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI. Please note that in addition to the examination fee, processing charges and GST will be applicable.
Upon successful payment, a confirmation page for your application form will be generated.
Make sure to download and save this confirmation page for future reference.
It's important to provide a valid phone number, email address, and postal address with the PIN code during the application process. After submitting the application form, you will receive a NEET registration number. Make sure to record and keep this registration number for future reference and use.
